1. To inform and educate the public of the needs and value of wildlife resources and the natural environment of the state.
  2. To motivate the visitor to learn more about fish and wildlife resources, both in Kansas and elsewhere.
  3. To provide an opportunity for the public to learn about habitat, its importance, and its diversity in Kansas.
  4. To teach youngsters how to think not what to think.
  5. To motivate learners of all ages to take constructive actions concerning the environment.
